Not a complete slacker

I talked my daughter in running her first half.There were times when I am sure she wanted to punch me. There were times when I had to stop myself from saying I'll wait for you at the finish line. My mom instincts had to overcome my type A instincts. But in the end there was only happiness at the finish line. We plan to do it again next year.

2011 Running Goals

Nothing complicated. 12 races in 12 months. I am going to try not to get too tied up on time and distance. I just want to focus on the joy of running. Oh and maybe a smaller butt.

New Year

I started this year with 3.1 miles in the cold Georgia rain.
