What 4 and a half months off of running has taught me

  • That there is actually a lazy girl trapped inside me just dying to get out and do nothing.
  • That the 30 minutes between 4:30am and 5:00am make a world of difference to my beauty sleep.
  • It may take me 6 plus months to get back up to running spead

I'm coming back from an injury and am curious how much endurance I've lost over the last few months. Only time will tell I guess....

I know of that lazy girl... I fight with her all the time!

Usually going out and doing something keeps her at bay, but when I was injured, I'm afraid she won most of the time.

But you will be back!!!!! And we all have that lazy girl inside of us. remember, that first week is the hardest-when you are able and ready let us know!!! We'll be here to kick that lazy girls ass!!!
